“Jack was throwing passes in the street and Jackie kept telling him to look out for cars,” said Suero…
“As we were coming into the park,” Suero recalled, “there were some guys tossing a ball about and one of them whistled at Jackie. She was really very reserved, very shy and she became upset. She complained to Jack, ‘Those guys are whistling at me.’ Jack turned to her and said, ‘So what do you want me to do, Jackie? Go and beat them up? I can’t fight every man in America.’”
