Betty Brosmer might be the most famous model you’ve never heard of. A busty blonde with an impossibly small waist — her measurements were officially listed at 38-18-36 — Brosmer started her career as a catalog model, and racked up 50 beauty pageant titles before the age of 20.

During the 1950s, she became one of the world’s most beloved and successful pin-up girls, and graced the covers of countless magazines, calendars, and record albums.

In 1961, Brosmer married Mr. Olympia founder and magazine publisher Joe Weider, and has been a fitness advocate and columnist ever since.
